These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AdulisConnect mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by Adulis LLC ("AdulisConnect," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
AdulisConnect is a prepaid international calling service that allows users in the United States and Canada to make voice calls to landline and mobile phone numbers in East Africa (including Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, and Uganda) and other supported destinations. Calls are routed via Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology from your device to the recipient's regular telephone network. The recipient does not need an internet connection or the AdulisConnect app.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
AdulisConnect operates on a prepaid credit model. You purchase calling credits in advance, and credits are deducted based on the per-minute rate for the destination you call.
Current rates are displayed in the app and on our website. Rates vary by destination country and may differ for landline and mobile numbers. We reserve the right to change rates at any time. Rate changes take effect immediately for new calls but do not affect calls already in progress. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant rate changes via the app or email.
Your credits never expire. There are no monthly maintenance fees, no inactivity charges, and no minimum usage requirements. Credits remain in your account until you use them.
We may offer promotional credits (such as a $1 signup bonus or referral credits). Promotional credits are applied to your account automatically and may be subject to additional terms disclosed at the time of the promotion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the amount you select for calling credits. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes and regulatory fees. Any such charges will be shown before you confirm your purchase.
Because AdulisConnect credits are a prepaid digital product consumed on use, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
To request a refund, email support@adulisllc.com with your account details and a description of the issue. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
If you purchased credits through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they control the payment and refund process for in-app purchases.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and forfeit your remaining credits if you violate these acceptable use terms.
We strive to provide reliable, high-quality calling service. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from interruptions. Call quality and availability depend on factors including:
AdulisConnect is not a replacement for traditional telephone service. The Service should not be relied upon for emergency calls. AdulisConnect does not support 911 or emergency service calls.
The AdulisConnect name, logo, app design, website content, and all associated trademarks, service marks, and trade dress are the property of Adulis LLC. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.
The Service relies on third-party telecommunications carriers to complete calls. We are not responsible for service disruptions, call quality issues, or outages caused by third-party carriers or network operators in destination countries. The Service may also contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ADULIS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO ADULISCONNECT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adulis LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@adulisllc.com. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and AdulisConnect agree to resolve any claims through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in the state where you reside or, at your election, by telephone or video conference.
YOU AND ADULISCONNECT AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@adulisllc.com or through the app settings. Upon account closure, any remaining credits will be forfeited unless a refund is approved under Section 6.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible. In cases of fraud or abuse, we may terminate without notice and forfeit remaining credits.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the app and on our website, and by updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes that affect your rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adulis LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
