Privacy Policy

Adulis LLC ("AdulisConnect," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AdulisConnect mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By downloading, accessing, or using AdulisConnect, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Payment Information: Credit/debit card details, Apple Pay or Google Pay tokens, and billing address. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Contacts: If you grant permission, we may access your device contacts to display names alongside phone numbers. We do not upload or store your contact list on our servers.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team, feedback, and survey responses.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Call Records: Destination numbers dialed, call duration, call start/end times, and call status (connected, failed, busy). These are necessary to bill your account and provide customer support.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network carrier, and language settings.
  • Usage Data: App features used, screens viewed, session duration, crash reports, and performance diagnostics.
  • IP Address & Approximate Location: Collected to prevent fraud, comply with regulations, and route calls efficiently. We do not track precise GPS location.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Payment Processors: Stripe provides us with transaction confirmations, payment status, and the last four digits of your card.
  • App Stores: Apple and Google may share purchase receipts and subscription status with us.
  • Analytics Providers: Aggregated performance and usage data from services we use to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including call routing and credit balance management.
  • Process purchases and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Send transactional notifications (receipts, low-balance alerts, service updates).
  • Respond to customer support requests and resolve disputes.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
  • Analyze usage trends to improve call quality and app performance.
  • Send promotional communications (only with your consent; you may opt out at any time).

3. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

As a provider of telecommunications services, we collect Customer Proprietary Network Information as defined under federal law (47 U.S.C. § 222). CPNI includes:

  • Phone numbers you have called
  • Duration and frequency of calls
  • Calling plan and credit usage details

We use CPNI to provide and bill for services you have requested. We do not sell CPNI to third parties. We do not use CPNI for marketing purposes beyond the category of service you currently subscribe to, unless you provide affirmative consent. You have the right to restrict our use of your CPNI at any time by contacting us at support@adulisllc.com. Restricting CPNI will not affect your service.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf:

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security measures.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order, subpoena, or government agency request), or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4.3 Business Transfers

If Adulis LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize the data so it can no longer be associated with you.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • 256-bit TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • PCI DSS compliance for payment processing (via Stripe)
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Role-based access controls for employee data access

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights & Choices

7.1 All Users

  • Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in any marketing email, or email us at support@adulisllc.com.
  • Push Notifications: Disable via your device's notification settings.

7.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Right to delete your personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@adulisllc.com with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will verify your identity before processing any request.

7.3 Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

If you reside in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or another state with consumer privacy legislation, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain data processing. Contact us at support@adulisllc.com to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies & Tracking (Website)

Our website uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential: Required for the website to function (session management, security).
  • Analytics: Help us understand how visitors interact with the site (page views, traffic sources). We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track individual users across sites.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy

AdulisConnect is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@adulisllc.com.

10. International Data

AdulisConnect is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no industry standard for how to respond to these signals, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We will update this policy if a standard is established.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and on our website, and by updating the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will send a notification via email or in-app message. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
